In my line of work I travel a lot. My job takes me all over the country and naturally, I spent a lot of time in hotels. I may not always bring a camera with me but I always have my phone. It was January 2023 and I was hanging around in my hotel room and I came up with this idea. I took my phone and I just started snapping details. Then I edited them on my phone. I made all of them square and black and white. Then I decided I'll do that every time I stay at a hotel, all year long. So this whimsical idea turned into my yearly project. The first photo in this series was taken on January 19th and the last one - November 28th. Now that I am looking back, I realize it was another eventful year with lots of travel and lots of new places I visited. This collection spans all of 2023. It's something different. I hope someone out there likes the idea. And who knows, I might do it again in 2024. Enjoy! =)
